Playing is simple
Get a group of friends, family together and head to Advocates 4 Animals (A4A) Pet Food Pantry by 9:30 a.m. to check in for the event. Race will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Scavenger Hunt Rules
Teams Consist of up to 4 Participants
Each team will be in one vehicle
Teams will be provided (5) clues to specific destinations within Jefferson County
Each clue will direct you to a destination, where you will receive another clue to assist in solving your final destination
Upon arriving at a destination and receiving a clue, your team must take a selfie and tag A4A Pet Food Pantry on Facebook.
Clues will NOT be placed inside any businesses, all locations will be public places
Upon completion of visiting all five destinations, your team will head to the final location in hopes of being the First or Second place team!

What is the objective?
At the start of the scavenger hunt your team will be provided with five clues to five separate checkpoints, at these checkpoints you will collect a clue to your final destination.
What day will the event be held?
The event will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, October 22. Start time is 10:00 a.m. and the game will be over at 2:00 p.m.
Will there be helpers or tour guides?
There will be destination coordinators at all five stops along the way. They will be there to provide you with a clue to solving the last destination, but will not be able to assist with any of the clues.
How long will the scavenger hunt take?
The scavenger hunt is estimated to take 2 to 2.5 hours, the scavenger hunt will end at 2:00 p.m.
Is this outside or inside?
All clues and destinations are outside, in public spaces. You’ll be on sidewalks, parks, etc. You will not be entering any buildings or private residences
Are children able to participate?
Absolutely, this adventure is meant to be for kids and adults alike
Do we pay for tickets per person?
No, our ticket prices are based on 4-players per team, with one vehicle.
Are any animals actually killed as part of this hunt?
NO! The hunt is for clues, not animals. Please don’t hurt or kill any animals during this hunt.
What is Advocates 4 Animals Pet Food Pantry (A4A Pet Pantry)?
We are a 501c3 non-profit pet food pantry and rescue based in Jefferson County. Our primary focus is to ensure those in our community who need assistance with feeding their dogs and cats receive the help they need, to prevent their animals from having to be relinquished.
We also rescue dogs, primarily pregnant moms, who have been abandoned to ensure they have a safe, comfortable and loving place to have their babies. We then have mom and babies brought up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and then we adopt them to loving homes where they can live a healthy, happy and prosperous life.
